WYOTECH'S FLASHBACK FRIDAY 50TH ANNIVERSARY PARTY!

WE'RE TAKING OVER WYOTECH DURING DAYTONA BIKE WEEK, THROWING THEM A 50TH-ANNIVERSARY PARTY AND YOU'RE INVITED!

 

Starting Friday morning, the SMC Crew will lead a ride to Wyotech (via backroads) making a couple cool stops along the way. The meet-up starts at Standard Moto so come on by, check out the progress we're making and grab a cup coffee before the ride. Kickstands up at 9AM!

During the day on both Friday the 11th and Saturday the 12th from 10AM to 4PM, join us inside Wyotech for a private VIP tour. If you've got an interest in wrenching or repairing motorcycles this has your name all over it! While inside you can also get a complimentary boot shine and get your haircut or beard trimmed. There's nothing better than getting cleaned up before you get dirty, right?

In addition, Marlowe Buelvas from Rusted Jalopy will be onsite giving lessons on how to mash metal into amazing works of art ranging from custom seats to fenders and everything else in between.

Inside the Triumph Certification workshop, Jason Paul Michaels will be tearing a brand new 2016 Triumph Street Twin apart with some of Wyotechs' finest students. The goal? To transform it over the course of the weekend into a cool custom demonstrating what you can do with a little bit of time, some parts from Triumph and a basic set of tools.

And if Marlowe and Jason aren't enough to get you in the door, you'll also find the Iron Lilieshaving their way with a brand new Ducati Scrambler in one of the workshops. They've got a ton of parts from Ducati's custom line and a workshop full of tools from Wyotech and are on a mission - to transform a stock Scrambler into dirt kickin' head-turning custom in two days!

Outside the facility, the Dime City Cycles Crew will be representing for the vintage custom side of culture. They'll have several, custom bikes on display, new parts on display, apparel for sale and will be hosting a custom bike show on Saturday the 12th.

The rules are simple, it has to run and it's gotta be fun! Classes are as follows all with one winner in each :

  • Cafe Racers
  • Bobbers and Choppers
  • Street and Dirt Trackers
  • Brat Style
  • Scramblers and Desert Sleds
  • Everything Else
