We're packing our bikes and heading north for the 93rd annual Laconia Bike Week. Riding from Orlando Harley to Laconia Harley, just shy of 1500 miles each way, we decided to make a trip out of it and take some time to do some sight seeing along the way.
Below is our schedule and approximate times of each city.
Tuesday June 7th:
KSU 9 am - Orlando Harley
Ride 280 miles to Savannah, GA and shoot for Fuel Clothing, see some haunted houses and have lunch by the water before heading back out.
Ride 40 miles to Hilton Head to skate at Fuel Skate Shop and Park and chill for the night.
Wednesday June 8th:
KSU 7am - Hilton Head, SC
Ride 55 miles to Harold's Country Club in YEMASSEE, SC for breakfast. Don't let the name full you, this is far from a country club. It was built in the 1930s as a Chevrolet dealership, garage and gas station but in 1973 it was purchased by Harold Peeples and became a restaurant / eclectic store for the rich and poor.
Ride 580 miles to Washington, DC.
We will probably be pretty tired so getting take out from the best fried chicken place in DC ( Georgia Brown's ) and picnicking on the great lawn while sipping our favorite whiskey, Slow & Low, sounds like the perfect way to end the day.
Thursday June 9th:
Ride 230 miles to NYC
This is an old stomping ground for a couple of us and we plan on making the most of our time in the city seeing friends, family and all the motorcycle shops our little hearts can stand.
Friday June 10th:
Ride 250 miles to Manchester, NH to shoot for the upcoming Hot Leathers catalogue.
Ride 55 miles to Laconia to sleep and get ready for our first official day of Bike Week and our 8:30 am ride we're leading that day.
